Description

Walking further east I arrive in Oberhofen, a little town bordering the lake. Among the typical Swiss houses this remarkable castle shows up, Schloss Oberhofen (site in German but with some nice shots in and around the castle). The tower in the water is very typical for this 13th-century castle. The castle houses an exhibition of Bernese interior decor with a variety of interiors and period furniture from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm and slightly pw adjusting perspective and removing some floating markers) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

I just love Architecture and Nature combined like this! The shot is perfect, I can say no more. Oh! If I could just go there and see it for myself. But, we have a tour guide and thats a close second. Even if I were there, I doubt I'd get the perspective correct for such a view as this.

A very beautiful picture with good depth of field as it blends off into the misty distance, and depicting some extraordinary architecture. I like the composition too. Well done!

I don't know which is the most remarkable contrast modern boats and a castle or snow and boats in the water. It seems defensive needs varied as the castle aged as it has gone from stone walls to stick Tudor plastered ones.

I am begin to question what I see - I know you like to work with the light for FX and the angle may be causeing this - but I have to ask - If this way a early dawn shot are we see some mist also ? - What ever it works well - Nice Aura !

what cool architecture!!!!! love it!!!!!! and seeing it in the mist like this gives it such a special feel!!!! the water is gorgeous here...the ripples and color! i look off into the distance and i can hear the fog horns now!!!! i would love to see this place!!!! ok that does it!!!!!
