Description
A chance shot walking into leicester town, i had my little cam on me and decided to chance it knowing how bad it is, i was suprised this cam out as well as it did.
Note the PIGION in the right hand side bursting into flight. This picture kinda sums up for me how leicester is changing under re-development you have the old buildings on the right with there flowing curves, then across the water you have the modern left hand side, and square and rigid....
There are two more shots to come in this set.
whats side of the water do you fall on?

Oh man, I know it well, just trying to place which spot that is - anywhere near the Holiday Inn by any chance? Great bit of serendipity with that pigeon!!! By the way I have a couple of colour photos of that neck of the woods from 1959, this guy I know took them way back then, it's where the Holiday Inn is now but I'd challenge you to pinpoint which spot it is as there are only a couple of clues! Must remember to send you them. Thanks for posting this bro, look forward to more :-)

I like the contrast between old and new and I would like the chance to take a shot of the old on its own. Great shot!

Interesting picture, the only downside to regeneration is you loose a lot of the original character of the area - look what they have done to the canals in Birmingham (UK), although I suppose the area now has a 'different' character and 'feel'!

Beautiful and really good composition. I nearly slept under those bridges when I was homeless but then I met an angel called ronnie
