Description

This one is for my sister, who is a BIG fan of Mercedes Lackey's Heralds of Valdemar books. She has been asking for a Herald picture for a long time. The Pelagirs are a magically tainted woods in the story line where all kinds of beasties and magically enhanced creatures dwell. The background of this image was done with Bryce 5.0. The girl and the lizard creatures were done with Poser. Her clothes, hair, the horse and barding were done post work in Photoshop 6.0 and the grass in the foreground was added in Painter 5.5. The girl is the Poser 4.0 Nude Female with no props or morphs added to the character. The lizard creatures are the Raptor character that comes with Poser 4.0 tweaked a lot using the adjustments built into that character. I left the texture map off of the creatures so that they would appear to have skin instead of scales. I really wish this image could be seen in it's original size and resolution but man yall would be sitting here all day waiting for the thing to load. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of the image.
