Description
God Loves Fat Girls, Too...
You look right at me, but you don't see me,
Or then again, maybe you do...
You try not to notice my thighs rub together...
But, God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
Your'e not quite as nice when you wait on me,
I'm not on your list of, "who's who".
Your even a little disgusted by me...
But, God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
You say "Fat is Lazy, and Lazy is Fat.."
"Go on a diet, would you??"
You have no idea of who I really am.
But, God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
You say you will never let yourself go
You'd die before you do...
I say your life isn't over yet,
And God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
You men look away before I catch your eye,
You don't want me thinking that you
Are even remotely interested in me...
Oh Well, God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
I don't want to date you, or have you fall in love,
A nice friendly smile will do,
You act like I may want to marry you! (YUK!)
But, God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
You look at me with certain disdain,
When I eat out public, like you.
I don't deserve the calories, "She's fat as a pig..."
I'm Glad God Loves Fat Girls, Too.
"She has such a pretty face..." you say...
You people don't have a clue.
You make me feel like such a waste.
I Think God Loves Fat Girls, Too....
I Think.....(brushing away a teardrop)
The picture is not mine, but I am not sure who did it. It came in an e-mail. Something for the "Beautiful People" to think over.

Hi nice to meet you, first I would like to say, I consider myself one of the beautiful people, yet not because I am thin, because I am not thin, and I very possibly might be one of these people others stare at and think "Oh my she is actually eating." Although because I feel that I am one of the beautiful people, and you addressed the message as to give, all the beautiful people something to think about, therefore I decided no, I don't know you, but your writing, your art here gave me reason to want to know you, therefore I went to your gallery to take a look as I have always believed if I cannot meet the person in person, surely I can see you through your art as your words. What I see in this one writing is pain, and what I see overall is a lovely human. "Beautiful" Overflowing of love and desire for acceptance, allow me to inform you, you are human, accepted for all of you, beautiful. I also would like to add, those whom are thin, are human also, and often hidden much pain. As all humans, we tend to hide our emotions, for shame to show pain; afraid another will recognize a weakness and maybe in turn hurt us yet again. Therefore, we react ridiculous and hurtful unto others sometimes. I can as easy as anyone else be "Ugly" and have, it is when we as all humans try to remember to see another in their "Ugly" moment as nothing more or less then what they are human, that we can find understanding, as acceptance of each other and then fear has no domain over our world and we are free to live, laugh, and love all of each other as truly beautiful. If you were near, I would hug you, and take you out to dinner where we would laugh chat and eat too! In the meantime, "BIG HUGS from one beautiful human to beautiful you!

Honest, true...... touching and exposing something all us so called "fat girls" have felt. Whether it is our imagination, or the truth... thank you.

very touching poem and I know all people have feelings, and just because one person is "better looking" does not mean that they are nice. the inner person is what counts and your words reflect that perfectly. thanks for posting your inner thoughts-Vote

Your words are so poignant and heartfelt. What you speak of is the unfortunate truth. But I want you to know that not everyone is like that. Beauty is sometimes only skin deep. I've known some really ugly beautiful people. My motto is "Do unto others as you would have them due unto you". I do not know you, but if I saw you, I would not judge you.

Thanks for letting everyone see that there is more to us fat girls that meets the eye!!!!!! I know that feeling when people stare (especially if I am eating). It might sound cliche but I truly believe that beauty comes from inside. just ask me boyfriend ;-p
