By Barstow, California the sands blow up into the mountains. I have ridden in those sands on my motorcycle and looked down each time the flight was landing in Los Angeles to marvel at the permanence of the formations.

Amazing color variation, detail and clarity in the rock! As Choronr said, it seems like you could almost reach out and touch it! Beautiful colors and variations in the rest of the image also. And I really love the 3D strata look especially in the right section of terrain. You can pack more into a little section of an image than I can get in one or more renders! Terragen Magic!
