Description
Thanks for the great comments on yesterday's Lizard Sunning photo. Here is another lizzie photo, taken a few days earlier outside my front door. Again, this one let me get pretty close. My method is to take a photo, move a little bit closer, take another photo, and so on until they scoot away. This one stuck around until I was about 2 feet away. I know that this is an anole, but which specific variety he is I am not sure.
Thanks for stopping by, comments always welcome and appreciated!

Not quite sure what it is about lizards that's so fascinating - maybe that they're so different from humans that they seem like an alien species. You caught this fine specimen in an elegant pose & the mix of textures & framing is outstanding. And whatever happened to Emo Philips?

Know the thrill, moving closer step by step while shooting until the little guy scoots away! Excellent work, Kort & wonderful quote!
