Description
Photographing the blue Gentian was pushing the limits for me; it was near dark and needed a wide open aperture at a quarter of a second hand-held. I gave it 3 bursts of 4 continuous shots and unfortunately on the best of the twelve I moved and chopped the petal tip off. I have plenty of photographs of blue flowers, but this was the only one that mirrored the Clover. All were reduced from 2560x1920.

Beautiful work--this reminds me of the work of dutch photographer Ron van Dongen, whose books are published by Nazraeli, except he photographs in black and white. The composition is simple and clear, pays homage to the superior beauty of plants.
