There is a lot to like here. The posing is very good, and I like the effect of the darkness surrounding. Lighting overall is nice, though you might want to get just enough more on her face so that her eyes have a spark of life. One thing I would suggest is to start either postworking or painting the hair. With the angle of her head, gravity would naturally tend to pull it more to the side. This is something most Poser artists seem to ignore, perhaps because many of the hair objects don't have morphs to make them appear to fall naturally, or to billow out if there is a breeze. You'll find the same thing with hanging items like earrings and pendants. Those who do take angles/gravity into account end up with more realistic appearing images. Just a thought.

Dear Nick, I'm so sorry I'm so slow getting over here but I'm almost drowning in e-bots and everything else! But I persevere on - and I always WILL be stopping by!! This is really nice and the black background makes a stunning setting. The hot lights on her arm and calf look realyl nice and very realistic. I'm not familiar enough with the Poser products to tell whether her dress is a post or in Poser. The red "velvet" looks really nice on her and goes well with her skin and hair. The extinguished candle is a nice element that reinforces her loneliness - perhaps a remnant of the evening that was to be - and then then never happened. Very nice pose and very introspective expression! And - very excellent work!!! Love, Meredith
