Description

Hi all, this is one of my first shots with my brand new Sony DSC-F828. My partner in live say the original shot is much better than what I have done with it... ... Photoshop sharpen, colour changing.... What do you think? What is better, the original or the reworked one? Thanks for stopping by and comments, Dotthy

Lovely foal & mum :) ....I like the reworked shot best much warmer colours and no electric tape. I think the camera probably slightly overexposed because of the darker hedge and it washed out a bit of the colour on the subject your mare & foal your post work has corrected this.

I like the altered shot for the colour and the deepness of the shadows. Both shots are special, as the moment when the horse noticed you, but wouldn't move because of the foal. Alsogood choice on the camera...;)

Das Postwork ist besser, denn die dunkleren Schatten verleihen dem ganzen eine wmere Athomsphe. Ausserdem hast du das Band wegretuschiert, das war bestimmt nicht wenig Arbeit.

HMMM,tough decission. The electrical tape looking stuff kinda kills the origional, and the second one isnt...well origional. But reworks are always better quality almost regardless thanks to the power of technology, besides i dont know much about photography..now if the subject were BEER!!:D ALl in all it is a very special capture and the whole point is "the moment".So for that it is superb ma'am.

The fixed one fer'sur - just a little less sharpening is all. Original arguments are moot in my opinion.

its a wonderful shot. have fun with you new Sony Cam. mir geflt die bearbeitete Version besser, die Farben und vor allem das wegretuschierte Band im Vordergrund, hte ich auch gemacht. Das einzige was etwas schade ist, das Blau vom Himmel leidet etwas darunter.probier mal eine Auswahl, nur den Himmel, weiche Kante und dann etwas Gr oder Cyan rausnehmen.an excellent photography and presentation. !!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!!!

I like the reworked photo based on the richness of the color. I know your love of horses; and, you have done well here capturing this equine ...excellent!

I don't agree. I like the contrasted colors better and the patience you needed to get rid of that barrier is amazing! Definitely looks much better without. Love it!

I like the touched up version. The colors are a little washed out in the original. But you could bring down the red just a bit too. Beautiful horse regardless. Wish we could see more of the little one.

I have to go with the retouched one because of the tape. The colour is a bit bold but fabulous all the same! Lucky you to get such a shot!!!
