When I first found this shape, I thought it looked like a rocket ship and colored it accordingly. All my friends with medical backgrounds kept telling me it looked like something they'd seen in their biology textbooks, so I did this glowing-sea-squid-looking version. Created with Ultrafractal. Annotations added with Paint Shop Pro.
