Description

This stray female cat has been my buddy for almost two years. I just took this image right after she was watching my fish and took a sip of pond water...you can still see a drop of water she didn't get a chance to shake off. Occasionally, she lets me pet her, but she hasn't missed a day for a free lunch. We have become friends and I know she trust me. I never gave her name.....any suggestions?

This is quite an excellent image you have here.. I rather like it alot. It shows the independence inherent in cats.. being of little imagination, I've always called mine.. cat :-) Well done! V

What a sweet sweet story. Boy/girl? (Suppose it won't let you see lol) 'sweetie' fits. She (I think it's a girl ... kinda calico-ish) She has a sadness in her eyes ... tears maybe? :-( I gotta tell you; I feed all the strays in our area, too .. they know to come to my bathroom window every morning at day break. :) I put out food all the time ... it does them good to eat something nutritious and does my heart good knowing they are okay. This is a fabulous shot.. I love it. Huge Hugs to you!!!

I am such a cat lover and she is a 'sweetie'. How sad she has no home of her own but how wonderful that she has you to fix her lunch for her. This is a great'in the moment' picture.

What a nice friend you have, seems kind-a sad in the eyes. I think Midori (i pronounced as e) is a good name, in Japanese it means green, for those green eyes. ;)

Again a great capture with a moving story. Love how much your photo tells with the drop of water being such a moment for you two. Like Midori from nongo, fits the picture you presented so well. Makes a person feel good about man and animal.
