Description


During World War Two there were thirty nine operational airfields in the county of Norfolk,England.Roughly two thirds of them were used by the heavy bombers of the U.S. Eighth Airforce for their assault on Germany.

Fantastic picture! The B-17's really are not that big. We've been to air shows and seen them close up 'n' personal. They are very pretty planes though. Thank you! V (:

Most excellent work as always. These are far and away some of the best profile art I've seen of vintage WWII aircraft, better yet, they cover all theaters of the war. Very well done.
