Description
"But 'twas my hand saw him welcome
To the devil and the grave,
And I damned my soul with silence,
My mortal life to save."
-Lisa D. by Cynthia McQuillin
Scanned and cropped from original pen&ink which illustrated the song. Someday, if I learn to model hair, I'll bring her into 3D.

Wonderful illustratration - you have created so much with so little. Excellent work. Bravo! :)

I clicked because the thumbnail reminded me very much of Aubrey Beardsley, and I see the full illustration is much like that too. Very nice! :)

I think the hair is fine. Too much detail and it would place emphasis on the hair which is not where it should be. This is the kind of drawing that I like to do as a vector drawing in Corel Draw. Unfortunately I have no imagination other than breathing in and out and so I have to copy. I think this is excellent and I mean that!
