My name is James Lee. I am a self-taught 3D graphics artist living in Brighton, Michigan. Im a big fan of science fiction and cinema, finding design inspiration from movies like Star Wars and Blade Runner.
I use Rhinocerous (modelling), Poser 5 (figures), Cinema 4D (modelling and rendering), PhotoPaint 10 (post-production and texturing)
My current body of work focuses on an accidental heroine, a mouse named Claude, and an ensemble of alien characters caught up in unusual circumstances. BIO Proud to be featured on

This is simply AMAZING. I have tried making buildings in Cinema 4D and so far have failed miserably. The complexity and mood of this picture is absolutely stunning. Keep up the excellent work!

You definitively can handle this software. Incredible image. And given you were a (former?) Brycer, you seem to have adjusted to your new surroundings just fine. Top-Notch!!!

good lord your the man, man :-) ... another workaholic :-)

Thankfully I think this looks nothing like Corusant (apart from all the flying vehicles).. the style of the architecture invokes Art Deco and the original Flash Gordon for me, and is far more original. I've been wanting to do a futuristic city scape in C4d for ages but I'm just too damn lazy...this is amazing...

Another visual feast for my eyes consumption!! - wonderful work James - I'd say you already got the hang of Cinema man! ;D - hope to see more soon (greedy I know, but I love your images!)
