Description

Took this picture of this tree I was in awe of last Sunday .. lol - I was laying on the ground -there was this crowd..I am laying flat shooting upwards and people were looking me like I was crazy... but I loved the tree ... credit to Zacko again (thank you Andreas for helping me on this!) This is tree represents one of my fav stories about a tree -so i am sharing the first chapter of it with you!!: I am doing photography now cause my compt won't let me paint it only stays on for 10 minutes at a time - miss my smudgin hopefully will get it fixed soon but in the meantime i am having a BLAST discovering a new love !.. i like to write my own stories and poes but i had a special reason for this it has has a big impact on my life.. no one should be without the giving tree as part of thier collection kids or adults!!.. _The Giving tree_ written by Shel silver stien (first part) Once there was a tree and she loved a little boy. And every day the boy would come and he would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play king of the forest. He would climb up her trunk and swing from her branches and eat apples. And they would play hide-and-go-seek. And when he was tired, he would sleep in her shade. And the boy loved the tree very much. And the tree was happy. But time went by. And the boy grew older. And the tree was often alone. Then one day the boy came to the tree and the tree said,

Dear Kimarie, Silversteins story is touching as is your affection for it and this magnificent tree. And it is a story problem as old as our species. We each have a window of life through whihc others and other things come and go. We outlive pets, cars, many of our creature comforts. We outline our parents, grandparents, and many of our friends. And our children, and other friends, and the rocks, and trees, and or civilizations outlive us. It would be a comfort for all they love to all exist at once, to freeze amoment in time where all those time stretched memories, could all be together. But - it's not to be - nad we must all learn to accept and expect these passages. Excellent work! Love, Meredith

I really do love this image, as you know trees are very sacred for me. YOu can learn a lot from a tree , some time when you are lying on the ground, a favourite space of mine, listen, and feel the vibrations of energy they unconditionally give you. Hug a tree and see just how energized you feel afterwards, see a broken branch and feel the sadness. YOu have captured the intensity of light on the knots and bark. I send you encouragement to keep on your journey with your photography. Judith
