Description
From my short story The Destruction of Sennacherib published in the Altair anthology: Robots and Time.
The virus had caught the Imperial Air-Dreadnought just as surely as it had the rest of London. The searchlights were dimmed and the running lights were off. A black leviathan with blind portholes for eyes, falling with dreadful slowness from the sky. I turned from the sight of the thing and concentrated on staying upright amid the shove and push of the crowd fleeing Piccadilly.
