Having gorged themselves, the family take a well-deserved afternoon nap. Notice how their opaque skin grows spiral protrusions while they sleep - this phenomenon is not yet fully understood, but scientists suspect it is connected to their metabolistic processes.

Here's the second part of yesterday's "Family" image. I posted these separately because I wanted to avoid the chunkiness that heavy compression causes so that the image details would not disappear :D
