Great idea of an image and character set up..however I have to offer a bit of helpful advice for further improvement. Your lighting is too flat, you could use a few spots to highlight particular parts of the room and make it far more interesting with shadow play! :) The final touch would be a background behind the glass doors of your period character that would add further depth and detail.. Please don't take me wrong, I'm only trying to help for improvement, overall the image has a lot potential and so do your concepts..shows you're not afraid to put down some hard work and that's the most important that values the most to me! Looking forward to your next.. :)
