brilliant subject rendition-- moving use of line and shape with gentle use of daffodil and tulip colour for spring spiralling from the swirling center!! WOW.

...the way the woods looked this morning was far from normal. A deer, solitary, wandered through the trees looking for the first growths of spring. Sidestepping the remaining patches of shade covered snow it moved slowly and carefully, and yet disappeared from view as it merged with a large pine tree trunk. Grey and brown, speckles of green above and white below, rocks, leaves, snow, and fog, the ending of the overnight rain and the slow dissipation of the dawntime overcast, the day held promise. Beautiful glow and textures, a good thing to reflect upon!
