Description

I don't know what this thing is called, but it looks to me like a little tree growing in the grass. It is probably classified as a weed, like most things in the grass that are not grass. They grow in bunches...and are different colors. I almost hate to mow the grass. Thanks for looking, -Peace :-)

This appears to be ajuga (Ajuga reptans), a common weed indeed, but as many 'common' weeds a closer look reveals the beauty of it! Excellent work!
