Description

Hi Everyone, This is another little froggie shot. He was sitting on a solar light stand. Just happy and smiling as always. They so cute and beautiful if they dont touch me.lol.Or jump on head. Here in Australia the canetoad are making there way down to Northern N.S.W. They kill alot of life in their way and these little green frogs are not exception. Alot of people in local area saying that their seems to be alot of green frogs around lately. The reason being that canetoads are pushing them out of their natural environment:(. Canetoads where another introduced species that has gone wrong. But as yet the CSIRO have not found anyway to get rid of the canetoads. Until they do alot of our natural wildlife will be destroyed. Hope you enjoy and thanks for viewing and taking the time to comment. Really appreciate your time. "RIBET" Best Wishes Chris:)

What a cutie! I love green tree frogs...I agree with you though, as long as they dont jump on me, they're very cute!!! I've heard of some cases of Cane Toads getting to WA, but isolated incidents, lets hope those nasty toads dont spread everywhere! Beautiful macro, makes a lovely portrait! =)

I marvel at the wildlife that poses with so much interest before your cameras lens. I also thank you for informing us as to the situation 'down-under' as we are oblivious of the problem. :~)

Inbalances in nature... Hmmm, not easy to solve those problems, esp. because it's frequently the humans who cause them :( Wonderful macro capture!

I just love the clarity of your images. They are always inspiring to me. Sorry about the canetoad situation. It's just another example of mankind meddling with nature, usually with good intentions, and creating an even bigger problem.
