I have been experimenting with the use of dark red for emotional effect myself. The dark purple works very well and the subdued nature of the entire peice makes it feel like an old hurt that has become a part of you, and not something that just came to be. I like this very much. ~lost

This really evokes a lot of feeling, the red is raw & gives the image a harsh edge but but your overall use of colour & composition suggest undertones of something more mellow, wounds healing perhaps or feeling yet to be expressed... this really touches me & makes me think too, always a sign of good work!

All your works have such fantastic graphic design, and this one's no exception. Very emotionally charged image. Very expressive, indeed. Glad it helped you, it's a wonderful piece :)

Powerful image charged with the stuff of life in all of its ramifications ... stuff from which we learn, digest, and charge forth into the vicissitudes of more adventures of the soul. Excellent and emotive work.

The trembling scrawl is perfect for capturing that emotion, it looks as though you deliberately wrote it with your "other" hand, the one you don't normally use for writing. This says all it needs to say. The pain really shows through here my friend. I hope you're okay hugs

By expressing your emotions in a creative way, you leave a record of the moment and in doing so you grow as an artist and a person.

Very effective, like a raw wound. The red "blood" seems so powerful, and yet vulnerable. A deep hurt... BUT NOT FATAL. Art is a healthy outlet. I hope you are making the hazards of life better for yourself.
