At a toga party somewhere in Scotland, King Dave was veryyyyy bored... and verrrrrrry lonely. He wanted to dance!!! Alas, all the girls present fancied him not. Where on earth would he find a girl at this ungodly hour of night? One that was good enuff for himself, to boot. Suddenly, an idea struck him. Call it an epiphany if u will. So he snuck out of the party and to a local graveyard. He knew hed find the perfect girl here somewhere!! He carefully combed the graveyard for the perfect grave -- being a King whom was picky, he had to pick the best looking one at the site. Finally after minutes of searching (as it turns out he wasnt that picky afterall) he began to dig with his bare hands... coz he was all kindsa manly! And dig he did til he found what he was looking for - the tomb of an Egyptian Queen... it was perfect! Since he was royalty and all. After the grave was exhumed, he released her highness from her eternal resting place. He uncovered the most revolting and emaciated corpse in the entire place -- but her parts were still in tact!!! With the help of a little rouge and a pretty dress, shed be right as rain.... and the perfect consort for such a fete. It was love at first sight!
But uh oh... now he has angered the god, Amun-Ra....

Heh... and u say yer warped? Yer playing with a different breed now, buddy. rofl Oh how I love funerary art!! And the moral kiddies is.... never mess with an eeeevil and very morbid mistress who listens to death metal. :giggles innocently: O;o)

Dear Babs, You ever get some place, kind a take a look around, then think, "How DID I get to this party?" I'm kind of wondering that right now. Hmmm - Keep this stuff up and even between the two of us we may not be able to make a full deck! If you hadn't mentioned the Egytian angle, I was about to suggest the possible origin on the young lady - I just left awadissk gallery and there should be a fresh corpse availabel by now. Oh my! That's too funny and too revolting. It's a good think I haven't eaten yet! 8-) I don't think she will dance too much. 8-) Wonderful composition and lighting.
