Description

- This was a first for me - Never seen such a large craft in the open sea - It then occurred to me that this must be but a grain of sand compared to the numbers of vessels that liter the oceans world wide - and - for many of you this is a common sight - I still invite you to share with me my moment of delight ! - ......... and take care :) - SoulEatar -

Oh man, you like intense colors!! Mighty view, it's beautiful, but when I see big tankers like this I think of what happens when they get a leak and contaminate the water and kill those lovely birds. Forgive me for dark thoughts on such a lovely shot!

sorry - my eyes are bad - I see a 800-1000 foot tanker that is setting high (5-10 ft)in the water aka not very full, may be more then half capacity. Rank is less then it should for this mistake. Positive side: exposure is excellent. colours vivid. unsharp mask well adjusted. compostion notes: could have set the tanker to the right 1/3 area. could have off set the horizon from the center either up or down 1/3. the lines (telephone/electric) could be cloned out. they are distracting. the object on the horizon in front of the tanker could also be cloned out. for this being your first sighting of a vessel of this size. good work at conveying the overall size.

It gets even prettier the further South you go along the coast... like Padre Island :] your intense saturation really makes this bright... gives the feel of your emotion :]

incredible colored sea! and all the many rpples! if there woudn't be the blue it could look like a potatoe field! LOL it's an impressive and breathtaking and creative presented scene! right, a large craft at the horizon! looks unreal in comparison with the trees in front! ;o)
