Description
Now that I'm making most of my creatures, clothing and props from scratch, my interval between published images has jumped from about 3 days to over 30 days. Since that's way too long to keep people waiting for the next OberonX image, I thought I'd put this one up to fill the gap until my next project is ready ;-)
This is a close-up of a gnoggoth-rider, the female character from my last image. All of the clothing items you see here were created and textured in Cinema 4D. I've also played with the skin texture a bit, adding a subtle bump and SSS (sub-surface scattering) to give it (hopefully) a more realistic look. Enjoy!

You have my respect for making everything yourself... something I've always tried to do whenever possible. Still, I'm much too much of a coward to try to modal my own people! :) This looks great, well done.
