Great start! Might I suggest a little dimmer lighting with some caustics & maybe a tad of the ocean floor with some plants & maybe some fish toodling around :) Well done :)

Hmm... my suggestion would be some bubbles coming from the back of the submarine and some volumetric cone-shaped lighting also coming from the sub (don't know if Vue has volumetric lighting, I assume it does... if not, you can always do it fairly easily with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro). Looks good though as a test; I'll watch for your next ones. As dlk said fish would be nice. Great job, though, quite well done. I like the coloring of the water, you've got that perfect, I think.

When I saw this render I was thinking of a catch phrase like "Atlantis:The city so nice,They sank it twice" Sorry, Just my warped sense of humour; beautiful job on it.

Nice image, and I agree with the comments above - maybe some bubbles and volumetric lighting? Caustics would be great, and if you know a way of applying them gobally to something like this please do a tutorial!! :-)

Thanks.. this is basically a test for some future ideas. I desire a brighter light - maybe in this world - the sun is lot brighter and that why the ice caps are melting. Also the sub came from Tascen collection of objects. Thanks for additional comments, one thing about bubbles - I would desired to it with no post work at all. I am striving for all my pictures to absolutely no post work. I need to research Caustics and the bubbles. Maybe I will experiment with it and see what happens.
