When looking at your travel log images of Egypt and especially this one, we are reminded that our very own environment is only a baby in age when compared to a village as you have photographed here. Some may argue that there is no wealth here, only poverty, but what measuring stick are they using to come to this conclusion? So there is no internet or computers and maybe only a few homes have a phone, maybe their riches are found in the human contact among family members. Something to think about. Again, you have presented us with a thought provoking photograph. ;~)

so this is where the ordinary people live. not the king and the royalty/oil barons. I would imagine Egypt being this way. excellent capture

What a colorful town in such a harsh desert. The lone figure striding forward adds a lot of interest!

A most fascinating shot. Almost like visiting ancient history. One can only wonder what life is like in such unfriendly terrain. I'm also struck by the colorful dwellings.

A lovely picture, all those houses but only one person - it adds an air of mystery to it!
