Greetings! You have a made a really nice weapon here, but although you have correctly identified this as a Scottish weapon, the style of the cross piece is that of a two handed Claymore used in the early 1500's during the reign of Henry VIII, and not the the straight cross piece that was in popular use in the late 1200's when Wallace engaged in his historic struggle with Edward I of England. It's still a great looking sword and very closely resembles the replica of one that I currently have hanging in my den. I would have sworn this was a photo and not a raytracing. Nice work.

He never said that this was a Scottish sword, only that Wallace who is Scotish used the sword. And if I'm not mistaken the top part of the image is a photo that he used as a reference and it says that the sword is Wallace. Anyways, very good job, I like the carpet texture is it?

Well, it is a scottish sword, used primarily by scottish mercenaries in Ireland, though the time period I am uncertain of. Amazing modelling. Impressive. How I would love to hold that blad. Keep up the good work.
