OMG.. this is out of a foreign flick I just watched. Action took place in the Gobi desert.. this could pass as a real photo. Excellent. Sky is perfect .. cloudless.

I personally would have reduced the amount of terraces and made the foreground less noisy (a bit of sand area instead of sandstone for more variation).

A desert masterpiece! To some extent, I agree with Lutz; however, you have attained a sense of realism here that comes very close to looking like a photo. A perfect picture!

I personally like the terrain a lot, and I wouldn't change it. As for the surfaces, I agree with Lutz that you could give a little more variation on the ground sand. A very photorealistic render though. Well done!

Excellent terrain and surfacing with great surface colour; I too think some soft sand drifted into the foreground would be an excellent addition.

First of all - the atmo is excellent! Second - love this terrain, very well done for a desert type. From the other side, as other mentioned already, textures could be a bit more diversified. They're very good, but if you multiply those layers, it will be just perfect :)
