Beautiful Tulip Magnolia blossom in a garden behind the Smithsonian Castle in Washington DC. Taken macro - a bit Georgia O'Keefe style - with a Canon Rebel Ti on 400 ISO film on April 5th, 2005

Maybe a little out of focus... but maybe just wonderfully soft. Love the delicate touch. G.O. would be proud.

Any suggestions on how to manually focus a macro photo like this? Still learning all the quirks and style of the camera - and hesitant to blindly attempt manual focus. Also - any tips on altering depth of field?
