not the greatest lighting on the character cause i was pushing my memory limit, but V5I is totally amazing!!! i got it this morning and this is my first render with it.

Looks good to me! What is your RAM's size?

1gig 400mhz dual channel ddr, 128mb radeon 9600. i turned off the open gl stuff, but i still get the low memory warning. firewall and virus software was running which took a little ram. about 35,000,000 polys in the scene. it rendered in 19mins on broadcast setting, so i won't complain too much. i'll have to see how far i can push it befor it crashs.

Great work. When the budget permits, you might consider bumping your RAM up to about 2GB. V5I seems happier with that number.

I think the lighting is excellent, just like a bright slightly overcast day; really subtle and excellent use of ecosys; well done!
