Description
Don't forget the three other walls and ceiling! This mural took two months to do and that was with eight other people filling in areas of colour for me (I did all the designs, shading, outlining etc). I spent winter 2003 at the Global Village Backpackers in Toronto. If you ever find yourself there, go look in the kitchen, which is where we worked like a chain-gang, the others being paid with free board and bagels. Most of the artwork was sinister in some way, like half-formed chickens in egg yolks and pigs eating bacon sandwiches. It was fun to work on.
