Description

Lava Breaks Loose; In the top left picture #1, seems like the lava had already harden. In picture #2 top center, the once thought harden lava rock had opened up and lava was oozing out. Picture #3 top right taken from a different position. Picture #4, a walk towards and up close view of this lava oozing out. The lava oozed out very fast for a moment then started to harden fast. It lasted for about 15 minutes and then stopped. To be there when the lava is oozing out fast is all about luck and timing. You'll never know when and where its going to happen. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

I'm so glad you're doing some abstracts on lava! The patterns are so interesting to look at, and unique at different locations. Lovely attention to detail. Excellent collection =)

Have you tried using a polarizing filter? Could perhaps intensify the reds and remove some reflections on the hardened lava? Dunno .. just an idea. Like your work on them .. but stay at a safe distance please! :-)

Looks a tad warm and a bit more than 'a little dangerous' - don't become a crispy critter! Well done!
