I dont altogether agree with the spirit of the guidelines. There is a lot of soft porn posted without any objection, some of it bordering on child porn. Murder, slow death, torture, violence of all descriptions, you name it ! Just recently, there have been many works advocating indescrimate murder ! It is all here. Erect nipples abound. The male member, erect or otherwise is the problem , but for who? A lot of people who view this site are non contribuitors. I think that only artists posting, should have a say in what is to be censured, and only after they have given a reason and a vote is called for. Another problem is the fact that many viewers of this site are visually illiterate. Not able to make an informed judgment on anything they see here. Pity for you that many want to censure rather than understand.I have looked at your gallery, your work looks creative to me. I am constantly offended by some of the purile rubbish posted at Renderosity. However , that is how it is here. The site is free. It has rules. There is a lot of low brow activity. Look at rule 1 again. You have not understood what was required. The fact that many others break the rules and get away with it, is to do with who is looking. Alas for you, some fool saw it and decided to punish you. Life is hard. Then you die.

Well you didn't seem to have any problems when you posted a chili sticking out of a butthole. Maybe you should stick to butthole art? A semi erect penis can be considered arousal. But then again the chili was looking pretty erect. If you are happy you offended someone then you succeeded I guess. That offense got the image pulled. Why then are you complaining? Guidlines are guidlines... I think you have been able to push those guidlines to the limit. Now you know where they are and can create artwork that pushes those boundaries without crossing them.

Thank you to everybody for replaying my message. I substantially agree with you.Of course, the sites is free,it has rules.Yes,I know that the provocation and the offense is a good way to get visibility. And maybe also I did not understood the rule n.1. Yes,Brendan,I try to be creative ,Yes,LawnDartLawnDart, maybe now I could search to create something without crossing the limits. But really,I didn't think that THAT image could be offensive!!!!But what really offensed me is the suggest to post at Renderotica!!!!!. After it is really incredible that somebody can dedicate his time to denounce to the site's administrator an "offensive" image!!! Is not easier don't look at this and going on? What really make me think is this volunty to forbid anybody to communicate.Without know why he did this or another image. This is pure prepotence. Anyway...we try to correct.... Brendan,I see you gallery, and and I find the serie "Reverie","Cathaersis" and "the Orphans" really great. The last one is what I prefere."...mute objects"...but in a very coloured way...mute in words, but shining in colour!!! I have to say to LawnDartLawnDart that I'm so ignorant with 3D art that I can't love his images, rather than "Alien eggs" is a great image. But Thank you for the suggest:I'll take present next time i'll post anything. To Akrilico (you are really an artist with a definited style, and I love all your clean images!):I don't know John Water,if you can give me any reference I will promptly go and see. Jean Luis Deborde is a french painter and photographer who lived and worked a lot in Usa with some of the most importants artists of pop wave...maybe Waters has done he also any similar(like me...),also because If I don't mistake, the firs to conceive the idea of this photo series was Salvador Dali in "The faces of Ecstasy",who taked inspiration from Matisse collages. From there the others... Thanks to everybody.

Vronsky, you're a good guy and Brendan you're absolutely right, sensorship is rarely the choice of the informed. I find it a bit cowardly of renderosity actually, but with sponsors involved I guess art is not the issue...

All this debate is healthy...I guess it really is a diverse world with diverse views...but what offends me is when someone accesses something that they know may offend them (ie a pic with a title like Vronsky's and with the nudity box checked) and then they decide to complain....I mean why go there in the first place? This to me smacks of Hypocrisy. It's all beyond me.....
