Description
I was wandering around outside yesterday and lo and behold, this lizard was sitting on my deck. I ran back inside and grabbed my camera, but apparently I took too long. The lizard was tired of posing for me and gave me an annoyed look.
I did manage to get about 5 pictures of him, though, before he ran off to munch on a bug a little ways off.
I thought it was a pretty good picture. It really shows off the color of the little guy and you can also see all the little scales of his neck and toes.
Tell me what you think and tell me how I can take better pictures (with the exception of getting a new camera, that's out of the picture -no pun intended-).
Enjoy!

Where are you located? I just posted a few anole shot in my gallery too. You did a fine job of capturing the this one, I like how he is partially in sun and partially in shadow. Well done! :) My only suggestion would be to reduce the image size. It is tempting to post large because you want to show detail, but it makes it hard to see when people have to scroll around.

Thank you for the tip, twopynts. This image actually is drastically reduced from the original, lol, but you are right. I didn't want to lose the detail. I will take your suggestion and make future posts smaller. To answer your question, I am located in Florida.
