Description


Native American WildFlower called BloodRoot. Bloodroot is an early Spring Flower that thrives in woodlands. It has a brief life. Look Quick because if you blink it might be gone. It grows in almost every area of the eastern half of north America From Nova Soctia to Florida. It gets it's name from the red Juice of its stems and roots. Used by The indians as a dye and insect repellent The image was taken with a Kodak cx6230 and cropped in PSP9.
