Hey!!! I was number three!!!!Where'd I go? NOT FAIR!!Even when I got the 3 spot I end up losing it. OKay. Calming down...Sigh...I said,Yippee! I'm number three!!! I'm usually WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY down the page.I love this Pickie Andreas! Those berries look good enough, and real enough to pick right off the screen! You know I have a bit of a thingy for selective coloring. Now you're really rubbing it in! LOL!! The craquelure on the background is particularly effective in contrast to those smooth, juicy berries. And that red is too luscious for words. Love it!!!

Arrrrrrrrrgh! When I Sailed in the Swedish Merchant Navy...I was perplexed why all the Svenska Sailors would smother everything in this "Jam".....even on their Fish Balls ...sigh

Yeah it's like re-birth...the vibrant fresh, new berries and the old growth behind. Great imagination and skill to put this together. Tedz..is that how you can tell if you've been in the Navy too long...fish balls?

ya know, Andreas, that background would be a perfect picture just by itself!!!!!! i luv the noise you added to it and whatever else you did!!!!! and then the berries...well they look absolutely FABULOUS! i have the hardest time takin' pics of berries...never can get the lighting right for some reason. dunno why. but the lighting on yours is awesome and this is perfect with that selective coloring!!!!!! you did a WONDERFUL job!!!!!!!!!! :)

We can make an occasional exception for you, especially when one tries to improve their skills by learning something new. I will have to admit, I have thought of split toning, just not found that manual. Oh, I forgot, it nolonger comes with a manual. Well, at some point I would like to get into it and maybe by then you have worked out all the little shortcuts to share with us at RR. :~)
