Description

This is a female 'Red Tailed Black Cockatoo', they are large beautiful birds that often travel in big flocks. Photo taken at Darwin, Northern Territory. EOS 300D, 70 - 200mm Canon L IS USM, f2.8, 1/40sec, tripod mounted.

Superb shot. The bird stands out so well from the background. I might just crop it back to the N in Australian and loose that distracting line. Excellent!!!
