Description
Our first and fondest companion. Born wild to a ferile mother. It took 9 months of patience to touch him the first time. Inthe following years he became father and mother to over 2 dozen abandoned "throw away". So many fond memories and stories of many years being a part of our family; the affection he shared and taught to others.

Darn JPEG was enlarged too much & from a small shot; scanned from a poloroid. Not good but it will have to do for a few days. Loosing him was hard given the state of my own health ... God bless you all Dwayne

I kinda agree with Ringwraith concerning Eternity. "ButterScotch, I never knew you but I know your Owner...well,at least via cyberspace! But,I can understand you through the caring words, the encouragements, the laughs and thoughts. We don't say goodbye. Why? because in the midst of the thrive,Cats have Nine Lives. Cheer up Dwayne,Butterscotch ain't gone,he's just coming back with a great big ball of Yarn and a New Coat. But hey, this isn't for you Dwayne,it's for Butter...scotch was his Name."

Thank you all for your caring comments. Loosing Buddy was one of the all time hardest - and loosing two more within a month was hard as well. Many years ago I asked a preacher if cats went to heaven ... he assured me that God provides space for all creatures, great and small, so that each will have eternal happiness. A very Comforting thought.

all of my life since i can remember i had a cat.my first one was dino ,when i was in italy in 1962 .we came to canada in 63 and had to leave him in italy .i never forget him. and one day last year i went to visit italy and go see my house there.i went with my lovely sylvia , and as i aprouched my house i saw a man on the window where i lived in 1962,he waved at me because i was taking pictures of his house. so he invited me in to see the house , my house of long ago.emidiatly i started crieng, all those memeories came flooding in, 40 years had passed.and then in the corner of my eye i saw him "DINO" my cat . i bent down to pet him while the tears fell down my chin. but the man said that cant be your cat , he would be to old. its a cat that we found and came in the house . but deep im my heart i knew it was him. he came back to see me.this is a true story, this hapened to me last year, sylvia is my witness. all i can say is that maybe our love is so strong sometimes that we cant let go. and i know what you are feeling "RETIRED". and that feeling i love.
