Description

'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' [stanzas 115-122] 'Day after day, day after day, We stuck, nor breath nor motion; As idle as a painted ship Upon a painted ocean. Water, water everywhere, And all the boards did shrink; Water, water, everywhere, Nor any drop to drink' Half repaired boat hull ....in long months of mooring (Northcote Point - Auckland, NZ)

What an increadible discovery. This abstract is wonderful in colour. I would even go more saturated to bring out the differences. In another version, I would then go . . . yes you guessed it, B&W then duo-toned to get those rich textures. BRAVO! I LOVE THIS ONE!!!

Thanks Egmont... I had a look at beefing up the saturation a bit but it meant losing the ambient, washed out, partially transparent feeling I quite liked here... it looks a bit bluey for the same reason... thecontrast is in the gazing... But thanks for your suggestion.
