Berlin , 2010.... It had been weeks ago. No one knew where they had come from. They had hit fast and hard. Mankind had been cought with the trousers down. Within hours the major cities had been bombed to ashes, most of mankind perishing in a tremendous storm of fire , leaving the fiew survivors stumbling within the ruins of their world. There wasnt much the sarge could remember, a nightmare of desperate screams and panic as the large ships turned up in the sky and let the mighty weapons speak. In a Caleidoscope of blood and fire he managed , somehow , to leave the town. Hiding in the ruins of an old castle out in the country, he watched his world crumble to dust. There where only a handfull survivers , among them a young foreign girl, speaking a language, he didnt recognise. Strangly he felt a very strong attraction towards her , and from the moment on she saw him .. she would not leave his side. When he looked in her sad, blue eyes he felt her pain , but also a strong ,almost magic trust and love, so intense that it felt as if they shared one soul. After a fiew weeks the survivers had to return to the city though, searching the ruins for supplies. Seeing what was left of the once so proud City made them loose all hope. Occasional patrolling Jetfighters made them aware that, whoever this fierce and merciless enemy was had not left . They spent the days hiding in the sewers and the nights searching for food and more survivers.
