Description

To be able to stand on the rim of a place like this, as the sun came up, blasting the cool night air away with it's warmth- and the last of the night's mist hides deep down; both day and night existing briefly before the sun conquers all. Terragen, Photo Shop, my own terrain, Lunar Cell for the moon. Smile at everyone tomorrow- it will make them wonder. Thanks, and leave a comment if you wish.

I really like this scene. It's beautiful and desolate at the same time. The terrain is so even at its top portion...but I really like it that way because its as though nature carved out her own city in stone. Supreme work.

Great pov & terrain; fantastic atmosphere! The moon seems to stand out a bit though, maybe a different layer blend mode or more transparency in the layer would have been better. Still an excellent scene over all. :)

This brought back one of my fondest memories when I saw it. Standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon. My knees went weak and I thought I was going down....then the sight actually took away my breath...I couldn't breathe! When I finally did, my heart was going so fast, and there were tears in my eyes. My GOD what a sight...This is just so beautiful. It really looks like it, with the colored layers and the shadows...I am amazed.
