Description
This is my first attempt at using face-off's 'P6 Character Realism Kit' with image based lighting.
The IBL was a circular gadient monochrome image, produced in PSP 8, with the bright point offset towards the top right hand corner. The second light, required for the kit, was an infinite, having both specular and diffuse components. (thanks to Paul for advice on the technique)
The image was rendered with the Poser 6 Firefly engine and post processing is limited to adding the borders.

Excellent work. As close to photo-realistic as I've seen in a long time.

excellent realistic portrait

It's very good... the only giveaway points that stand out to me as "digital" are the lacrimals, the inner mouth, and the nostrils, all of which still seem unnaturally bright -- apparently the occlusion isn't perfect yet. The rest is much improved over any unretouched P5 I've seen. P6 seems to be working pretty good.

Lovely render Bandred. If that's standard Jessi eyes - then rip appart the nodes and rewire them (specially the eyeball - get rid of all the edge_blends) - and you will get brighter and more realistic eyes. Her hair is absolutely first rate!
