I'm just a girl with a Nikon D90, who loves taking pictures of just about anything and everything. Postworking my images is 'my thing' .. The main programs I use are: Photoshop CS 5, Corel painter 12. I am currently laid off and seeking employment. I have been in the technical support field for the last 12 years and have really enjoyed the work. Not sure what I want to do now. I think it depends on what is out there and what is available. Competition is tough, there are so many out of work these days.
Anyway! I have been a member at Renderosity since 2004.ÂÂ

A fabulous image first rate for compo and colours, could be a little sharper but that is only my personal tastes. I love the plain background perfect for this shot.

The back ground is not important at all in this case, I think. This way, the snake gets all the attention and what a beauty this is. The tongue sure adds a lot to this picture.. Great image it is !!

Very nice Image Sharilyn, I think the background works very well, In sweden we dont have many snakes, at least not in the wild. So seing this brings a smile to my face. The tounge really makes this picture stand out. And I dont mind the big size. Benny

Wow! I love this! Really nice work and unusual subject..considering it is a snake and garter snakes do not generally friendly disposition. TomDart.

My daughter Ceri had two snakes like this one. She called them Jondalar and Jetemaia after two characters in Jean Auel's Earth Children series of books. They became very tame and she'd often take them for walks curled around her wrists like bracelets! The simple background [imo] is absolutely right for the subject. Mike
