Here a close up of the yesterday shot.
Skye is an idyllic island, rich in natural beauty and ancient heritage. This is a land of legends, Scottish history and unspoilt culture where the Gaelic language is still spoken.
Whatever time of year you visit Skye is a wonderful place to see rare wildlife. Otters, Eagles, Corncrakes, Puffins, Pinemartens, Seals, Porpoises and Whales are amoung our inhabitents and few areas in Europe have as great a diversity of plant life.
Thanks a lot for all comments and interest and I hope I'm not boring you with the neverending scottish series!

Mountains in the mist. Really like the contrast in colors between hill and mountains. Wonderful moody (dreamy?) shot.

It is neat to see it close up and I really like the darker textural tones of the hillsides, but I think the pulled back view from yesterday was the better of the two. Still very nice!!! :)

The peacefulness of the land as a brook meanders downward to an awaiting stream as clouds of mist linger above to be captured and soaked up by the heathers, a child snaps from behind and i realise who is in control. This image certainly can make one start writing a short story or novel.

Oh my.. "Idyllic" is certainly an apropos adjective for this most beautiful scene. I love the atmosphere and the sweep of the land. Very nice!

mmmmm...beautiful pink whispy clouds...almost make the mountains have a pinkish tone to them! this place has such a spiritual feel to it. i think it's that mountain in the middle. bored? you gotta be CRAZY!!!!! i could look at these images forever!!!!!!!!!!! :)
