BIOHi everyone!
I'm a 19 year old guy from Sweden, right now I'm just being unemployed, I'm taking one year off before I continue studying. Since I don't have an occupation at the moment, I spend an awful lot of time playing computer games and working with 3D. Since my dream is to work with 3D-graphics in the future, I thought I could aswell pay some serious attention already.
I started working with bryce when it was first released, but I didn't start playing around seriously until 1998 or something. I first started to use Lightwave in April, or something like that, that's when I found renderocity. It's really a great place for inspiration and development. cheers!

Beautiful texturing on the board! Chess sets are a great way to test light sets, too, because they have interesting shapes (and are more exciting than spheres and cones;-) Excellent as always!

great work. I need to figure out where you find these speed modelling challenges

Nice job especially for 2 hours work this looks great.

Great, if only we could always play on such chess sets...;)
Esclece
great work, particularly the texture on the board.

Please go ahead with the Wizard chess set. I would love it if ChessMaster would offer that as a board instead of just the fairy tale set. I'd love to see it when you get done.

2 hours you say!!! i gotta give this chess set modeling a go. Though the only chess set i have here has shot glass pieces, not much modeling there then. Enough rambling on from me, excellent work and as always you got my vote.

The Detail Around The Board Is Superb!

Very nicely done!

Brilliant detailing! No gallery is complete without a chess set.

Kings pawn to K4. Very nice, the board deserves nicer pieces, but I'm used to playing with 11th century pieces.

I love the texturing you used on your models in this picture. :)

Excellent Realism, great looking chess set, only mistake I would like to point outone thing its not a big problem. But shouldn't the board have the the white square on the corner be on the right side instead of the left?
