Description
This a quick study of postworking a photo sky into a TG scene. Its the first time I've tried it, I know it could be better. The photo is mine I took of last night's sunset. Thanks for looking!

Stunning sky!

Sometimes I look at a rendered TG sky and think... that doesn't look too bad, but it pales in comparison to the real thing. A little blending on the terrain to the right and it would be perfect. Excellent job of matching up the TG sun to the pic sun. The angles seem just right.

Exc integration! lights match very well!!

left side fits perfect, wonderful integration. The mountain in the background on the right side needs some contrast-/brightness-adjustments imho.

All worked out OK except the mountain to the right. Either the lighting is off or the edges aren't blended in. But it looks like it was a gorgeous sunset.

Excellent postwork, hope we can do this kind of sky in Terragen 2.

Beautiful postwork !

The clouds and sunset are awesome now...If you could only do that with the terrain...LOL :)

Unless I'm going blind; I don't know how this beautiful image could be better - gorgeous work!!!

Agree about right side but the clarity is remarkable...nicely done!

Nice sky - yeah the mountain to the right spoils it slightly, but well done nonetheless - the pov and sky angle are spot on :)

Yep, this composition of TG and post sky works really well. Get out there and build yourself a library of sky shots.

why nobody tells the truth? why is all excellent? well, your sky fits very well on the left, but look on the right. there it doesn't fit. also i see a bit of the original "blue" sky rendered in tg. also the haze on the right looks unnatural in combination with the atmo of the sky. don't misunderstand me, but i think it will bring you more forward if NOT all people say its excellent, but don't crit the pics. Shame 'bout rosity.

XR666 - everyone's truth is different, art is subjective according to each individual viewing an image...some will see this image as excellent, others, like yourself, wont...not every comment needs to be critical, some are allowed to be complimentary...so get over yourself already...what's a shame is arrogance...
