sry, I'm going to be hard with you: you HAVE to put the render detail setting to max! there is almost no surface at all and the sky looks like presets and is even to short so that one can see the end. then, you'll have to get more conform with tg and psp before you try such difficult postwork (it's really not convincing). and some more contrasts would be good (that's less important though). I know that this doesn't sound very polite, but it's not meant to be personal at all =) the main condition is to have fun while creating, and if that's what you have, I'm sure sou can move on, read a lot of tutorials and ask advanced TGlers for help, this is the way you'll improve. A lot to learn you have ;) now let's go, good luck, dude!

Sorry I'm running late today! This is a very creative scene. I do remember what SSS said, and it is true about setting the detail setting to maximum. Actually the more you work with Terragen and play with some of the tutorials, the better you'll get. This is a super first try though! Nice one! (:

Thank you both, SSS and CS. I used to do Terragens, but stopped before I really did well. I noticed when I rendered that it rendered too fast. Is there a place to change that? I don't remember. I knew it hadn't been rendered enough. I Thank all critiques so I can improve. Ruthee

Ruthee this image has the potential to be an outstanding picture. It has a beautiful concept. The detail slider is just below the preview window and is very important with Terragen. Below that is your render settings button run that slider up at least one notch. From looking at this pic it is obvious that you have lots of talent. Play around with Terragen and it will pay off. When you come up with a beautiful pic like this, it would be a good idea to save your world file.We will looking forward to some wonderful renders from you. This is absolutely a beautiful first try!!

I agree with all of the above. I would love to see this again but with the render detail slider to the max.
