Description
I KNEW this bird existed AND came into my back garden - it ate out of specially constructed tube located on my lawn, only this bird can reach the contents (Haggis' legs) with their long beaks yet I'd never seen it. I constructed a hide so I could lie in wait....with my camera, water, food and favourite tartan cushion......I waited...and waited.....After several unsuccessful hours, I had to return indoors...you know...to do what we all have to do. As I came to the back door, I SAW IT!! Aaah, my camera was still in the hide......I have recreated what I saw as best I can!!
3 Blatte flames on Apo. Background, frame & name PHS.
Thanks for the great comments on yesterday's effort!!
Cheers for viewing
Take care

Too scared to let any bird societies know about this.....I might have men with binoculars parked all over the place!!!

Hilarious!. Wacky as they come. There has been a shortage of Haggis legs this year, we had so much rain their legs turned into flippers.
