Description

Yesterday I had to go to town for a meeting in the morning. I drive through an agricultural area and with the temperatures being very cold the last couple of mornings I knew I was going to see some wonderful frost. So I made sure I left early enough to make several shots. Several came out really good! Here is the first. No post work except the frame. Thanks and have a warm day, I go back up to the snow today :(

Outstanding, a really superb shot!!! Can't see the point of irrigation at zero degrees. How not to grow plants unless they are going straight to the freezer :) Well done Kim!

No Postwork? Guess it couldn't be done better even if you rebuild the scene in a studio. Perfect!

Woooow !!! What a magical shot here, really awesome !!! Its so beautiful it seems unreal !! Stunning capture !!! They do this on frosty nights around this time of year when the buds are already developed. The ice shields them from the frost... seems like a weird thing to do, but it really works :o)

Amazing picture, really unusual. Is the light coming from a rising sun or car headlights? Eitehr way its stunning, excellent!

Silly farmers are going to freeze their alfalfa before it even get going. Right place right time=excellent photo! Don't worry, you'll be out of the snow real soon. It's gone from the valley floor here. I'm originally from Gardnerville and our climate is similar.
